Meet your guide at Zocodover Square and walk through the charming cobbled street of Toledo. Arrive at the Jewish quarter, where the three monuments that you will visit with your guide are located. Figure out why the Catholic Monarchs in the 15th century founded the magnificent St. John of the Kings Monastery.
This outstanding church is a wonderful example of a flamboyant gothic architecture that was designed at the time by the most famous architects. Admire El Greco's masterpiece, The Lord of Orgaz's funeral, where the artist represented his time's culture. Listen to the storey behind this iconic painting in order to know why the Lord of Orgaz was honoured by the saint while his body was being buried in 1323. See the inside of The Old Synagogue named Santa Maria La Blanca. Inside its walls evokes the atmosphere of the city of the three faiths, where the Christians, Muslims, and Jews were able to coexist.
