Your class will begin with a visit to the nearby local market from the cooking class venue. The mentoring chef will accompany and guide you from one stall to the next to find the ingredients which are required for the cooking class. The chef will help you to identify and select the best local herbs, spices, fresh fish, meats, vegetables, and fruits for completing your Balinese cooking experiment. You will discover which local ingredients can be easily found abroad, especially in an Asian supermarkets. You will then later use the ingredients that were bought in the morning market run.

After your market tour, you will then come back to your cooking class venue and start preparing your dish. Interact with your fellow cooks and discover handy techniques as you prepare various dishes. Then, sit down to a meal and savour the delicious flavours of your creations.
