What you can expect

  • Secret Waterfall Hike in Tapovan , a serene area near Rishikesh, is known for its peaceful ambiance and natural beauty. While it is more renowned for yoga retreats and spiritual centers, Tapovan also offers some hidden natural treasures, including a secret waterfall hike.

It is one of the lesser-known waterfalls, it is a hidden gem that offers a quiet escape into nature. Though not as popular as some other waterfalls in the region, it provides a tranquil and refreshing experience.

Starting Point: The hike starts from Main Badrinath Road, which is close to Laxman Jhula.

The trail begins at Cafe 60's in Tapovan on main Badrinath highway, the hike is relatively short, around 3 km one way.

Difficulty: The trail is easy to moderate, making it suitable for most hikers. There are a few rocky sections, so wear sturdy shoes.

Scenery: The trail winds through forest, alongside a stream and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

The Waterfall: Main Falls: Secret Waterfall is a beautiful nestled in the forest. The water flows down rocky cliffs, creating small pools at different levels.

Activities: You can sit in the cool, refreshing pools, meditate by the water or simply relax and enjoy the serene environment.
