The Tistarelli Oil Mill tells the storey of a family that, since the 1960s, has been dedicated to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Today, the tradition is carried on by Fausta Tistarelli and her family, who combine their roots with innovation to create an oil that embodies the authenticity of Tuscany.
All year round, visitors can join a guided tour with tasting of the EVO oils produced at the mill: a unique experience that allows you to discover the mill, its history, and the milling process, and to learn, through tasting, how to recognise fragrances and flavours, distinguish their unique traits, and appreciate the value of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
During the harvest season, from mid-October to mid-December, the visit becomes even more evocative: the air fills with the fragrance of the new oil, and the festive atmosphere of the olive growers makes the experience truly special.
