Overview

The Sarapiquí River is one of the most exuberant rivers in the area with continues rapids class 4 and 3 for over 2 hours, with lots of wildlife during the descent like sloths, monkeys, toucan’s and more.

This river is considered a Natural Monument of Costa Rica due to its nature and cultural history. The 3,739-hectare La Selva Biological Station is located in this region, one of the three most important neotropical ecological research and conservation stations in Costa Rica, owned by the Organisation for Tropical Studies.

Our professional guides, will guide you safely on a raft for 6 people over more than 30 rapids by 2 hours of emotions and adrenaline. Guides will ask you to paddle hard and do a good teamwork. This combination of sport, nature and adrenaline makes this tour an outstanding adventure. Safety measures: safety kayaker, profesional & bilingual guides, life jacket, helmet, paddle and a safety speech for instructions. INCLUDES: fruit on the river ,towels, water and a delicious Costa Rican lunch "Casado" and PURA VIDA time. DEPARTS: every day at 08:30 until 14:30 WHAT TO BRING: Changing clothes, clothes to get wet, tennis shoes or water shoes.
