What you can expect

Your itinerary will begin with a visit to Cape Kamui.

  1. Cape Kamui
    An iconic coastal landmark on the Shakotan Peninsula, known for its towering 80-meter cliffs and the stunningly clear “Shakotan Blue” waters of the Sea of Japan. Walk along the coastal trail to the cape’s end, where you can admire Kamui Rock, the scenic lighthouse, and sweeping panoramic ocean views.
    NOTE: If Cape Kamui is inaccessible due to weather or site closure, we will visit Shimamuui Coast as an alternative.
    Duration: Approximately 60 minutes.

  2. Otaru Canal
    A historic symbol of Otaru’s port city charm, lined with classic gas lamps, weeping willows and preserved red-brick warehouses. Take a leisurely walk along the stone waterfront, soak in the nostalgic atmosphere, and capture postcard-perfect photos of this beloved Hokkaido landmark.
    Duration: Approximately 60 minutes.

  3. Blue Cave
    A stunning natural sea cave measuring 30 metres long and 15 metres high, famous for its magical blue glow created by sunlight filtering through the seawater (the effect is most vivid on clear, sunny days). Due to recent rockfalls inside the cave, our cruise will no longer enter the cave interior and will only sail around the outer area of the Blue Cave. In summer, you can also enjoy the fun activity of feeding seagulls during the cruise.
    NOTE: Boat tickets are not included in the base tour price. You may purchase them through can be added as an optional extra, or try to buy on-site. However, on-site tickets are very often sold out due to high demand, so we strongly recommend making early arrangements.
    If the boat cruise is suspended due to strong wind, heavy rain or other severe weather, we will extend the visiting time at Otaru Canal accordingly.
    Duration: Approximately 80 minutes.

  4. Shiroi Koibito Park
    Shiroi Koibito Park
    Step into a fairy-tale English garden where charming European-style buildings, a whimsical clock tower, and seasonal blooms create picture-perfect moments. Stroll along brick paths, breathe in the sweet air, and snap photos against postcard-worthy backdrops.
    NOTE: We only visit the outdoor park area—factory and production demos are off-limits.
    Duration: Approximately 40 minutes.
