What you can expect

Spend a day discovering the Grecian glories of Santorini by land and by sea. Travel by bus to the highest point of the island, and then take a cruise to visit the majestic islands of Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni, and Therasia.

Hop on a bus and make your way up to your first stop, the 16th-century Monastery of Prophet Elias, built on the highest point of the island at (550 metre) above sea level. From here, admire a stunning view over the dazzling azure waters and dramatic cliffs of the caldera. Next, continue to Pyrgos, a village known for its Cycladic architecture, Byzantine churches, and Venetian castle.

Make your way to Athinios and board the boat King Thiras and set sail for the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, where you can walk a dirt path up the slopes of a still-active volcano to reach the crater. Back on the boat, head to the island of Palea Kameni. The boat stops near balmy hot springs, the perfect spot to jump in for a dip or just enjoy the view.

Next, continue to the island of Therasia. Stay for 2 hours and swim, have lunch next to the sea, or explore the village of Manolas with its winding steps and traditional houses. Finally, arrive back in the port of Amoudi and climb the steps to enchanting Oia, where whitewashed houses cluster on the very end of the island, to take in one of the most amazing sunsets in the world.
