The next stop will be Pyrgos village, the old capital of Santorini. Offering panoramic views of both sides of the island, Pyrgos is probably the most beautiful traditional village of the island. The traditional houses and paths are built around the old castle combining Cycladic and Venetian architecture. Wander in the paths like you are in a maze and maybe take some pictures with the cute donkeys, your little explorers will find them very interesting! Before you leave the village, stop at a traditional café to enjoy some Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts.

Now it’s time to visit the Lost Atlantis Experience museum so both kids and adults can learn about the history and the myths of Santorini in a fun and interactive way. Experience the island’s destruction with all your senses in 9D, discuss with the great philosopher Plato and learn the history behind the myth.

Continue to the south part of the island and the lighthouse of Akrotiri. This is the perfect spot to relish the endless blue of the Aegean sea. Capture some amazing pictures with the swing hanging from a tree.

The last stop will be Perivolos black sandy beach, the best of the island for swimming and relaxing. This family-friendly beach is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and swim in the crystal clear water of the Aegean sea. Snorkelling equipment will be provided to you to make the experience even better. Many beach bar-restaurants are also located here, so maybe you can rent sunbeds to chill out or have lunch by the sea. For those who want a little bit more action, water sports are also available in this area.
