What you can expect

Discover the fascinating Che Route in Bolivia on this 2-day, 1-night tour. Relive the steps of Ernesto “Che” Guevara from his arrival to his last moments. The tour begins in Vallegrande (or Santa Cruz), a key city in the storey of Che's death.

On the first day, explore Vallegrande, visiting the moving Che Memorial (where he was found), the guerrilla grave, the “Señor de Malta” Hospital (morgue), the Ruta del Che Museum, and other cultural sights. Enjoy the local cuisine with vegetarian and gourmet options. The evening is free to explore or enjoy an optional folk music group.

The second day takes you to La Higuera, 61 km from Vallegrande, where you'll visit the little school, the Quebrada del Churo (the scene of Che's last battle and capture), Jaguey, and the telegraph operator's house. You'll go hiking in the Quebrada del Churo, feeling the history with every step.
