Overview

You're a private investigator hired to find a missing 19-year-old who fled to San Francisco to experience the 1967 Summer of Love. You follow her trail into Haight-Ashbury, visiting the same streets, cafes, and park benches she did. And somewhere along the way, the area starts to get under your skin too.

This self-guided historical quest takes you through the streets that defined a generation. Using the Questo app on your smartphone, you trace the real footsteps of the counterculture at 10 stops: visit the Victorian homes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and the Grateful Dead, stand in the Panhandle where free concerts changed American music, and end at Golden Gate Park where 20,000 people gathered for the Human Be-In.
