What you can expect

Begin your afternoon with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Pythagorio , Ireon or Samos Town . Head to the Museum of Samos Wine, housed in a magnificent 19th-century stone building. Originally a private winery, it later served as a warehouse and barrel-making facility before becoming a museum in 2005.

Explore the museum's exhibits, which showcase the rich history of Samos wine. See old photographs, production records, and artefacts related to vineyard cultivation, manual labour, harvesting, and winemaking. Admire the huge wooden tanks, once used for ageing wine, and learn about traditional winemaking techniques.
