Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Samarkand and head to Urgut, a lively town famous for its traditions and local culture. Stop at Urgut Bazaar, one of the best places to see real Uzbek daily life. Meet farmers, craftsmen, and families selling spices, dried fruits, bread, handmade tools, and traditional clothes.
Continue to the Chor Chinor Shrine, a very special and non-touristic place. See giant maple trees over 1,100 years old, creating a calm and magical atmosphere. Inside one of these ancient trees, find a small school room, showing how history and local life come together. Walk, relax, and talk with local people who come here every day.
Next, head into the mountains to visit Teshik-Tosh Historical Landmark, a beautiful viewpoint with wide landscapes and fresh air — perfect for enjoying nature and taking photos. After that, go to the Qoratepa Water Reservoir, where blue water and green hills create one of the most scenic and peaceful spots near Samarkand.
After enjoying nature, go for lunch to Katta Tosh Tandiri, one of the most famous traditional restaurants in the mountains. Taste tandir lamb, slow-cooked in a clay oven underground. The meat is incredibly soft and juicy, served with fresh bread and local dishes, all with a beautiful mountain view.
After lunch, return to Samarkand and get dropped off at your hotel after a full day of local culture, hidden gems, stunning nature, and amazing Uzbek food.
Through this tour, we focus all our attention on showing national traditions, local life, and the true Uzbek way of living.
