What you can expect

Day 1: Samarkand – Panjakent – Seven Lakes - Artuch

After breakfast, leave for the Tajikistan border at 8:00 AM. Cross the border on foot, meet your guide on the Tajik side, and transfer to Panjakent city. Continue to the Fann Mountains. Discover the vibrant Panjakent Bazaar, where you can experience local life and shop for unique souvenirs.

Journey to the Seven Lakes, stopping at each one for photos. Take a guided hike along the lakes, covering 2-3 kilometres. Admire the unique beauty of each lake. Enjoy a picnic at the last lake. In the late afternoon, drive to Artuch village, 80 km away. Share dinner in a local house and stay overnight at a guest house.

Day 2: Artuch- Kulikalon -Samarkand

After breakfast at Artuch village (2,700 m), start your hike to Kulikalon Lakes. The trek covers approximately 12 kilometres return with altitude ranging from 2,700 metres at Artuch up to about 3,100 metres near the lakes. Enjoy the stunning alpine scenery before returning to Artuch.

Have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Panjakent and return to Samarkand.
