What you can expect

  • We will meet you at Esplanade in Samana at 8:30 AM (the exact meeting point and other details are provided in the confirmation message). First we go to observe the whales in their own habitat. After observing the whales, we will go to Cayo Levantado Island for a typical Dominican lunch. After lunch, you will have free time to enjoy the beach, walk around the island, play volleyball, or just relax in the shade. Around 4:30 PM, we will return to the Samaná community, where the experience ends.
    Other things to note:
    This experience lets you see the whales up close. Do not swim with or touch them.
    We also have whale-watching options from Punta Cana, Sabana de la Mar/Miches, and other places at an extra cost.
