Pickup from hotel and transfer to the jetty. Board a 15-minute ferry ride to Gaya Island, the largest of five islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Gaya Island is known to have some of the best lowland forests. Upon arrival, trek for about 1.5 hours through coastal vegetation, mangrove swamp and lowland dipterocarp forest. Our guide will explain to you about the flora and fauna of this tropical island. After your trek through this primary forest, pick up by boat and transfer to nearby Sapi Island, the smallest among the five islands and well- known for snorkelling for its colourful marine life. Spend the day at your own leisure : Go swimming, snorkelling or just laze yourself at the white sandy beach. Short and simple trails are available for your own option of you wish. After lunch, continue your free leisure time before departure. At 3.00pm, board boat from island jetty to Kota Kinabalu mainland and transfer back to hotel.

The tour begins with a picturesque 2-hour drive to Kinabalu Park, passing through villages and paddy fields along winding mountain roads. A brief stop is made at Nabalu Market, where locals sell produce, fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs. Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park, the air temperature changes noticeably. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing walk along nature trails in the Botanical Garden, with the possibility of spotting Mount Kinabalu on clear days. The park is home to 4,500 plant species, including 1,500 orchids, and supports diverse bird and butterfly populations. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before departing for Poring Hot Spring, known for its sulphurous waters believed to have healing properties. Visitors can soak in Japanese baths and explore the Canopy Walkway, suspended 41 metres above the ground in the tropical jungle. The tour concludes with a return journey to Kota Kinabalu, taking approximately 3 hours.

Drive to Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre, where orphaned and injured orangutans are rehabilitated to return to the wild. Witness orangutan feeding and watch a documentary. Visit the Borneon Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about sun bear rehabilitation efforts. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to Bilit by the Kinabatangan River and check-in at Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort. Enjoy a river cruise to spot wildlife like proboscis monkeys, orangutans, and pygmy elephants. Return for dinner and optionally join a night walk with a naturalist.

Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. Proceed for an early morning cruise to observe more wildlife and birdlife. Return to resort for breakfast. Late afternoon, set off for another river adventure and try to spot more wildlife and birds before returning to the resort for dinner.
