Your journey begins with a comfortable drive from Rovaniemi into the peaceful Arctic wilderness. As we approach Riisitunturi, the scenery transforms into snow-covered forests, frozen lakes and rolling white hills.
Once inside the national park, we begin a relaxed hike through the famous “tykky” forest, where heavy snow creates unique sculptures on the trees. The pace is easy and enjoyable, with plenty of time for photos, short breaks and simply taking in the silence of nature.
During the hike, we stop at a scenic campfire location where you can enjoy a warm drink and a light snack surrounded by the Arctic landscape — a peaceful and authentic moment in the middle of the wilderness.
After the hike, we visit a cosy wilderness café operated by a local entrepreneur couple near Riisitunturi. Here you will enjoy a warm soup lunch in a traditional Lapland setting — a comfortable and rewarding end to the outdoor experience.
After lunch, we begin our return journey back to Rovaniemi, relaxed and full of unforgettable memories.
