What you can expect

  • Experience an unforgettable day of adventure exploring the via ferratas of the Serranía de Ronda, one of the most impressive corners of Málaga. Accompanied by a professional guide, you'll discover mountain landscapes, gorges, and whitewashed villages as you ascend three routes of different levels, perfect for both beginners and those who already have experience in rock climbing.

The meeting point is at the Ronda Sports Pavilion, where you can easily park and meet your guide. After a brief safety briefing, you will receive the necessary technical gear—harness, helmet, and shock absorber—before starting this vertical experience.

The adventure begins with the first via ferrata (level K1-K2), ideal for beginners. You will climb about 75 metres alongside the famous Tajo de Ronda, enjoying views of the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) and the depth of the gorge that makes the city famous. This first section is simple, but it already offers a good dose of excitement and spectacular panoramic views.

On special days, you have the option of trying just the Ronda via ferrata to get started.

Then we will move on to the second via ferrata (level K3) Atajate, where the level K3 via ferrata awaits you to cross two bridges, one Tibetan and one Nepalese, while you enjoy the natural surroundings of the Ronda mountain range.

Once we finish, we'll continue on to Gaucín and stop to rest, hydrate, and grab a bite to eat before continuing.

The last stage of the route takes us to El Castillo del Águila, in Gaucín (K3). Here the terrain becomes more exciting, a descending via ferrata that gives you the adrenaline rush you need in the middle of the Genal Valley and the Sierra Bermeja Natural Area: with three fun bridges, a 20-meter Tibetan bridge, two rope bridges of 10 and 20 metres respectively, and a 30-meter zip line that gives you a great feeling of height.
Between each via ferrata, you'll enjoy short trips by road and on nature trails, with time to admire the surroundings and learn about the geology and flora of the natural park. The guide always adapts to the pace of the group, ensuring a safe, fun, and accessible experience for all levels.

The activity ends after 6-7 hours of fun, with a return to the starting point in Ronda. You'll end the day with the feeling of having experienced a real mountain adventure, surrounded by unforgettable landscapes, and with the satisfaction of having conquered three via ferratas in a single day.

Ideal for those looking to combine sport, nature, and excitement in a unique setting, this experience is the best way to get to know the Serranía de Ronda from a different perspective: hanging from the rock, breathing fresh air, and enjoying the most authentic Andalusian landscape.
