We start at Quinta do Freixo (the largest agricultural property in the Algarve and a strategic partner of ATTE with its rural tourism hotel) for a constant climb of about 4 km and up to the viewpoint of Moinhos da Pena, an area with stunning views to the south and where on cleaner days we can see the Ocean.

From there we get into more demanding single tracks to reach the top of the Pena Rock at approx. 500 m in altitude, after travelling the plateau, the descent begins on wide tracks again to pass the typical village of Penina before turning south towards Benafim to finish at ATTE facilities.
