During the forest hike, you will not only enjoy a revitalising forest bath, but you will also immerse yourself in Puerto Rico's unique biodiversity as you discover native trees and plants, some of which are endangered. As we walk through this natural environment, we will pay attention to the melodious song of birds and be on the lookout for endemic species such as the San Pedrito, which are true jewels of our avifauna. The tour culminates near the top of one of our impressive “mogotes”, in small caves where you can marvel at marine fossils more than 20 million years old, all while we take a short break before starting the return.
