ITINERARY START: Day 1 at 07:00 FINISH: Day 3 at 17:00 in the centre or bus terminal in Uyuni.
Day 1: We begin by visiting the Train Cemetery (very old locomotives from the coal era), town of Colchani, (Manual salt processing, crafts, salt museum), continuing with the trip entering the Uyuni salt flat (12,000 km2) We can see The Salt Piles, Salt Extraction, Salt Eyes, Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, Incahuasi Island. (Giant Cactus), coral stones. After this visit we continue the trip to the town of San Juan, to spend the night at the Hostal de Sal in double, triple or matrimonial rooms.
Day 2: The trip departs at 08:30, beginning to visit the Salar de Chiguana, viewpoint of the Ollague Volcano (active volcano), visit to the highland lagoons of Cañapa, Chiarcota, and Turquiri located at an average altitude of 4,300 metres above sea level where We will be able to observe flamingos, vicuñas or other animals, Siloli desert observing the Stone Tree or other transformations of rocks whose formation is due to the erosion of time, already in the afternoon arriving at Laguna Colorada (4,300 metres above sea level) where you can see a large number of wild animals including flamingos or vicuñas, later we would be arriving at HUAYLLAJARA.
Overnight at the hostel at an average altitude of 4,300 metres above sea level. in rooms; doubles or triples/shared bathrooms and showers.
In the months of June, July, August the temperatures are very low due to winter (-20 C°) therefore it is recommended that the client must have their own sleeping bag.
Day 3 This last day of the tour the trip departs at 05:00 am. to visit the geysers or active volcanoes of SOL DE MAÑANA located at an altitude of 4,900 metres above sea level. where you can see the fumaroles or lava boiling at a temperature of 90C°, hot spring pools (Polques), the Dalí desert. and later visit the green and white lagoons located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano.
After this last visit to Laguna Verde, the return trip to the city of Uyuni begins, a journey of approximately 7 hours without many stops except at noon for lunch and a visit to the rock valley in the Mallcu Villa Mar sector. . and so the trip ends at 5:00 p.m.
