Enjoy and find something good in the bamboo grove. Check one of the most famous zen temples of Kyoto; Tenryu-ji.
On the high street of Arashiyama, there are lots of street food stops and maccha cafes.
On the way to Kinkakuji-temple, there is a hidden temple called Rokuo-in where you will explore quiet beauty of Japan.
Kinkaku-ji and Ryoanji will give you a new phase of Japanese zen. Ryoanji has such beautiful and serene rock garden where you will learn ancient Japanese architecture and Karesansui.
