Overview

This tour to the south of the Dominican Republic includes not only transport and glamping accommodation in Cueva de las Águilas, but also food, which means you can enjoy the adventure without having to worry about food.

We'll start the tour with a pickup in Santo Domingo and head south to explore the region's highlights.

We will also explore the Wind Farm in Piritu (Los Cocos), where we will be able to appreciate the beauty of the windmills. Afterwards, we will go to Arroyo Salado to enjoy its crystalline waters, we will visit Los Pozos de Romeo and the town of Pedernales.

Finally, we will arrive at Bahía de las Águilas, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean with crystal clear waters and white sands. After enjoying the beach, we will return to the pick-up point in Santo Domingo, with a wealth of unforgettable memories from our tour of the southern Dominican Republic.

Visit to the Oviedo Lagoon, located in the heart of the Jaragua National Park (Pedernales), an oasis for migratory birds, rhinoceros iguanas, plant varieties and local communities. Observation of the four species of mangroves (red mangrove, black mangrove, white mangrove), flamingos, spoonbills, mangrove canaries, several species of herons, terns and many others. In addition to being an impressive place to observe the local fauna and flora, the Oviedo Lagoon also offers the opportunity to enjoy a natural mud bath.
