Arugam Bay offers a variety of breaks, catering to different skill levels. The main point break, called “Main Point,” is located just a short walk from the town and is renowned for its long, smooth right-hand waves that can extend up to 400 metres. This wave is more suitable for experienced surfers, as it can get quite powerful and fast.

For those new to surfing or looking for smaller waves, “Whisky Point” is an excellent option. It provides gentler, beginner-friendly waves that are perfect for learning or improving your skills.
