Bessarabska Square was once the city border, having been transformed into the very heart of Kyiv in just over 100 years. Its biggest attractions today are Bessarabsky food market and Arena City commercial complex, both quite old and grand in architecture.

Leo Tolstoy Square, named after the famous Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, offers a nice combination of buildings of the late 19th century and Soviet era. It used to be the city border about 150 years ago, having turned into the lively neighbourhood with a number of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

The monument is an enlarged copy of a silver figurine presented to Richard Nixon on his visit to Kyiv in 1972. During your ride you will also see the famous pedestrian Park Bridge, Metro Bridge and Paton Bridge.

The Metro Bridge points out to the mount concealing the deepest metro station on Earth – Arsenalna. It was one of the first five underground stations launched in 1960. Have you ever dreamt of taking a ride back in time? Well, there is a truly special place in Kyiv known as Rusanivka. It looks like a regular Soviet-style residential neighbourhood until you realise it is an island, actually, the very first artificial island of the former USSR. Being created in the early 1960-s, it seems intact and lives its own life. Rusanivka is surrounded by a channel with fountains and is often called Kyiv Venice. Indulge in the lost Soviet paradise by observing its beauty from the car windows.
Paton Bridge (Pass by)
Paton Bridge connected the two banks of Dnipro in 1953, having become the first all-welded bridge on the planet. While going over the river, out of the windows you will see a jaw-dropping panorama of the historical Right bank, with the shining golden domes of the Kyiv-Pechersk monastery and Motherland Statue as backdrops.
