What you can expect

  • Learn how to make one of Korea's most famous dishes, try on some traditional dress, and check out the surroundings of a lively market. This experience introduces you to the world of Seoul's history and culture in a unique, hands-on experience.

After you meet your personal guide for the outing, set out from your hotel to make some kimchi. Learn Korean history and culture as a professional instructor helps you prepare the classic dish, and then try out your meal or have it packed up to take home with you.

In addition to kimchi making, you can try on a traditional hanbok and get a photo taken before you head off to Gwangjang Market. Established in 1905 and now one of Korea's largest traditional markets, this the place to go for quality silk goods, kitchenware, and clothing—not to mention the food. Browse the incredible selection for some great tastes or souvenirs before you head to the Myeong-dong station at the tour's end.
