During your hands-on cooking lesson you will help Angelina to assemble both savoury as well as sweet dishes like feta parcels with honey and sesame (or spanakopita if there is fresh spinach available) and the easiest baklava. She will also show you how to prepare the main dish, either shrimps saganaki in fresh tomato sauce with feta chunks or grilled calamari with basil pesto orzo or orzotto (like risotto but with orzo pasta) with calamari and summer vegetables. As you learn to cook with a small ouzo in hand, Angelina will help you understand Cycladic island gastronomy. You will discover how less becomes more in the Greek island cuisine, turning the limited produce of the islands into a deeply satisfying meal.
