Overview

Get ready to discover one of the most impressive landscapes in the Peruvian Andes with our private service to the Ausangate 7 Lakes. This experience takes you into the heart of the Vilcanota Mountain Range, at the foot of majestic Ausangate Mountain, one of Peru's highest peaks, reaching 6,384 metres (20,945 feet) above sea level.

Throughout the hike, you will visit seven lakes in different shades, surrounded by mountains, snow-capped peaks, and spectacular Andean landscapes. The route includes Pucacocha, Patococha, Alcacocha, Comercocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo, and Azul Cocha, with views of Ausangate Mountain along the way.

The tour also includes a stop in Pacchanta, an Andean community known for its hot springs, where you can relax after the trek.

The route starts in Pacchanta at approximately 4,300 metres (14,100 feet) and reaches nearly 4,800 metres (15,750 feet). Good physical fitness and prior acclimatisation to high altitude are strongly recommended.
