Bright and early a driver provides a transfer from your hotel to the airport for a quick flight to Sandakan. Travel to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, the world's largest sanctuary for the animal. Here, the orphaned or captured young orangutans are slowly reintegrated back into the wild and you have the opportunity to witness the animals in their natural habitat.

Make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant and continue on with the tour itinerary. You tour around the city and visit the Central Market and observation point. Finally, make a stop at a Chinese temple and a water village before taking a relaxing flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
