Overview

A unique experience on the Douro River aboard a 35-foot yacht, the “BIG SMILE”. The experience is personalised and designed for small groups of up to 10 people, providing a peaceful sailing experience, with moments of tasting regional Portuguese flavours and the possibility of exploring beautiful landscapes without the hustle and bustle of large crowds.

The sailing is conducted by two experienced skippers who are passionate about the Douro River, offering a serene journey with strategic stops so that passengers can admire the view and take photos of the cities along the way. The route includes more than 20 km of sailing, from the Freixo Marina to the Atlantic Ocean, guaranteeing a unique perspective of the region.

Passage under the Infante D. Henrique Bridge.
Ponte de Dom Luis I (Pass by)
Passage over the Dom Luís I Bridge with a short stop so that our guests can take the photos they deserve.

Continuing towards the Atlantic, we will enjoy the Cabedelo Nature Reserve, the romantic old Foz and the magnificent view of the Douro Bar topped by its emblematic lighthouse. This scenery is even more stunning at sunset, a moment that we especially recommend.
