(1 hour drive) Sit back and enjoy the scenery along the way. With a history of more than 1,700 years, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is regarded as Shanghai's Venice. Unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards attached all transport people who have been living amidst the bustle and hustle of the modern big city to a brand-new world full of antiquity, leisure and tranquility.

Follow your tour guide to explore the ancient town, stroll along Beidajie, many buildings has a history of hundred years. Explore Kezhi Garden. The architecture in the garden is a combination of the Chinese traditional and the Western styles. It consists of three parts - the main hall, the garden and an artificial hill area. The most iconic landmark of the garden is a five storey building with a pavilion on its roof, which is the tallest building in old Zhujiajiao.

Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Garden is the largest ancient gardens with Ming and Qing style architecture. Follow your tour guide to explore the garden, learn how to form a perfect garden. Then visit the Old City God Temple, where various of local snack shops and streets are scattered around. Since Yuyuan Garden is not open on Monday, so you can choose to visit Jade Buddha Temple instead.

If you choose to visit Jade Buddha Temple, you will see the White Jade Buddhas which were brought here from Burma in the nineteenth century. Stroll around halls and courtyards in the temple with your tour guide, learn the history about the temple and buddhism in China, see how the locals come to worship and burn incense.
The Bund

Take the high-speed lift to the observatory and enjoy a panoramic view of the whole city with a 360 degrees dimension from the observatory.
