The Cu Chi Tunnels, once known as the formidable "Iron Triangle" during the Vietnam War, form an intricate underground network that served as a strategic military base for Vietnamese resistance forces. Once a devastated "dead land," relentlessly bombarded by millions of explosives, Cu Chi now stands as a testament to resilience and ingenuity. Today, this historic battlefield is more than just a relic of war—it is a living museum, blending legendary wartime history with the rich cultural identity of the Vietnamese people. Afternoon: We will depart from Cu Chi to My Tho city for two hours by car. On the way to My Tho, we stop at restaurant to have a lunch.

Arriving in My Tho City, you'll board a boat that glides along a tranquil canal, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. As you cruise through lush coconut-lined waterways, you'll reach a charming coconut island in Ben Tre. Here, we disembark and take a leisurely stroll through the village, where you’ll be welcomed by a local family. Savour the taste of fresh tropical fruits, sip on honey tea and honey wine, and immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of traditional Vietnamese folk music performed by the villagers. Continuing our journey, we walk along the village paths to a coconut sweets workshop, where you can witness the art of candy-making and explore beautiful, handcrafted items made from coconut trees. Strolling deeper into the village, you'll find yourself surrounded by fruit-laden orchards, colourful flowers, traditional houses. Take your time to soak in the serene countryside scenery and enjoy an authentic taste of Mekong Delta’s rural charm.
