Chongqing Luohan Temple

Luohan Temple has a 1,000-year history and was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is a great place to take photos where modern and ancient styles meet. Visitors randomly pick an Arhat statue to start counting, stop when they reach the number corresponding to their age, and ask the staff to explain the significance of the Arhat they counted. Many local people also pray here for their good future, business success, or other personal wishes, just like Western people in church.

Jiefangbei Square

Jiefangbei is the core and spiritual landmark of Chongqing. It bears the memory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, commemorating victory and liberation. Located in the city centre, it gathers prosperity, serving as a historical monument and the heart of the mountain city.

Kuixinglou
