Discover the Path of the Gods with a guide born and raised in Positano. This famous scenic route on the Amalfi Coast connects Nocelle, the highest hamlet of Positano, to Bomerano (Agerola) and offers some of the most spectacular views of sea and mountains in Southern Italy.

Along the walk, between myth and history, you will hear the legend that the gods created this path to descend from Olympus and save Ulysses from the Sirens of the Li Galli islands. But you will also discover its more concrete value: for centuries it was one of the main communication routes of the Coast, long before the modern road that connects Sorrento to Vietri sul Mare.

It won't be just trekking: it will be an immersive experience to learn about rural life in the area. When possible, you will meet local farmers and ranchers, discover authentic products and traditions that are still alive, and talk about flora and fauna, wild herbs used in cooking and in the phytotherapy tradition, and the customs that have shaped the daily life of coastal communities.

The tour starts from Nocelle, with a meeting point at the village car park, and offers two options. The Circular Option is more challenging and includes the “high option” for even wider views, before returning to Nocelle along the main trail. The Variant with a Visit to the Shepherd is shorter and includes a stop at a local shepherd's farm, with the opportunity to taste artisanal products and learn about an ancient tradition.
