Your expert guide knows everything there is to know about Pompeii, so you'll see all the town's highlights. Walk over cobbled streets that chariots would have rollicked over, 2,000 years ago. As you walk through the town with your expert guide, you'll see how similar Pompeii is from a modern city. Ancient Romans had all the modern amenities; laundrettes, fast-food businesses, bakeries.
Discover the vibrant culture of Ancient Rome. In the grand villas of the wealthy, you'll see beautiful frescoes and mosaics that still glimmer to this day. Walk through the theatres, where plays would have been performed in warmer months, and into the huge Roman bathhouses.
As you enter the Forum, you'll see all the elegance of this centre of ancient life, including the Temples and law buildings which made it the heart of Pompeii. The Forum is where you'll find the moving plaster-casts of those who died in the terrifying eruption of Mount Vesuvius. See the mountains' victims, huddled in their final moments.
