Day 1: Phong Nha - Highway 20 Road - Tiger Cave - Kong Collapse.
08:00-08:30: Pick up from your hotel in Phong Nha area.
09:00: Safety briefing at Our Headquarter.
09:30: Set off by van for about 45 minutes along the Highway 20 road to the starting point.
10:15: Start hiking on a difficult terrain trail with a mixture of soil pathway and rock passage.
12:30: Lunch will be served during the trek when you get to the top of the Gio Slope
13:00: Hiking again for about two more hours inside jungle of Phong Nha Ke Bang to reach the Tiger cave.
- 15:00: Arrive at the Tiger cave where you will be geared up to swim through the downstream passage of Tiger cave to reach your campsite inside Kong sinkhole
(In case of high water level which is not safe to swim, the guide will decide to take the upper passage to trek to Kong sinkhole)
15:30: Swim 300m through the lower passage of Tiger cave.
16:00: Arrive at Kong sinkhole by the end of the passage.
16:00-17:00: Prepare campsite.
17:30: Dinner at Kong sinkhole and enjoy the rest of the night in one of the deepest sinkhole on earth.
21:30: Bedtime
Day 2: Explore The Tiger Cave Series
07:30: Breakfast at Kong sinkhole.
08:00: Rappel at the Toad Tounge rock in Kong sinkhole.
09:00: Set off for Tiger cave
09:00-11:00: Explore the upper passage of Tiger cave. This will require a lot of climbs over boulders and pass some rivers inside the cave.
11:30: Arrive at the Swift exit of Tiger cave and trek through the jungle inside the doline between Tiger cave and Hang Over.
12:00: Picnic lunch at the entrance of Hang Over
12:30: Start exploring 3,2km of Hang Over. This will be a long walk in the darkness while wandering inside huge cave.
13:30: Arrive Hang Over. This is a huge chamber which is 125m wide, 80m high. There are a lot of strange formations. Awesome place for good photos.
13:30-15:00: Explore the Hang Over to hit the second doline between Hang Over and Hang Pygmy. Walk for about 20 minutes under a jungle in a cave
15:20: Arrive at the Hang Pygmy and start exploring the fourth largest cave in the world with a transverse line of 80m along the edge of formations.
15:45: Walk through the passage and then abseil for about 10m to drop down on the floor of Hang Pygmy. Daylight from the big entrance can be seen from here
16:00: Set up the basecamp
17:00-18:00: Photoshoot in the entrance of Hang Pygmy.
18:00: Dinnertime.
21:30: Bedtime
Day 3: Leave Tiger Cave Series and the trek home
08:00: Breakfast and clean up the camp
09:00: Trekking out of Hang Pygmy entrance through different valleys and mountains.
10:30: Arrive at Co Slope, a grass slope which is quite slippery and steep. If it is rainy, you may have a chance to see some waterfalls on the way back.
12:00: Some snacks will be provided during the trek.
14:00: Arrive at the road to enjoy cold drinks before the van arrives and transfers you back to Phong Nha Centre.
15:00: Arrive at Our Office, clean up. Finish the journey.
