Activity itinerary

Perugia (Pass by)

Perugia is the capital of Umbria and one of the most important art cities in Italy. Founded by the Etruscans over two thousand years ago, it preserves a historic centre rich in medieval and Renaissance testimonies. Strolling through its alleys you will find Piazza IV Novembre, the Fontana Maggiore and the Palazzo dei Priori, symbols of a city that combines history, culture and lively university tradition.

Collestrada (Pass by)

Collestrada is a small village located on a hill overlooking the Tiber Valley, in a strategic position between Perugia and Assisi. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, when it was born as a fortified settlement for the control of the communication routes of the valley. Today it retains the charm of the Umbrian villages, with ancient stone buildings, panoramic views and a quiet atmosphere immersed in the countryside.

Bastia Umbra (Pass by)

Bastia Umbra is located at the foot of Assisi and is a lively centre rich in history. Its name derives from the great fortification, or "bastia", built in the fourteenth century to defend the territory during the disputes between Perugia and Assisi. Still today it preserves stretches of the ancient walls and the Rocca Baglionesca, testimonies of its medieval past, combined with a strategic position in the heart of the Umbrian Valley.

Basilica Papale e Sacro Convento di San Francesco d'Assisi

  • 10m
