Explore two of Vietnam’s most iconic natural wonders on this full-day adventure to Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave, both located inside the UNESCO-listed Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park. This small-group tour offers a perfect balance of nature, geology, culture, and wartime history, making it ideal for travellers who want an immersive experience in just one day.
Paradise Cave
Paradise Cave is the longest dry cave in Asia, discovered in 2005 and opened to the public in 2010. Located deep inside the core zone of Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, it features towering chambers reaching up to 72 metres high and 150 metres wide. Inside, you’ll encounter stunning white crystal stalactites, limestone columns that resemble stone pillars, and countless other impressive formations.
Your journey to the cave includes:
• A buggy ride through lush jungle scenery
• A 200-meter hike to reach the mouth of the cave
• A 1-kilometer exploration along wooden boardwalks designed to protect ancient formations
Every section of the cave is illuminated to highlight its grandeur, offering excellent photo opportunities.
Phong Nha Cave
Known as a “river cave”, Phong Nha Cave played a significant role during the Vietnam–American War. Hidden deep along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, it served as a strategic shelter for floating bridges, supply routes, and even an underground hospital.
Your visit includes:
• A scenic 6 km dragon boat ride along the turquoise Son River
• Drifting 1 km into the cave by boat
• Exploring 300 metres on foot to see famous formations such as:
– The Lion
– The Fairy Caves
– The Royal Court
– The Buddha
The combination of river and cave exploration makes this one of the most peaceful yet awe-inspiring experiences in Vietnam.
