Our tour begins in the heart of Pamplona, in Plaza del Castillo, the main meeting point for locals and visitors. There, we'll meet the tour guide and start the experience from this location.
Next, we'll enter the old town of Pamplona, strolling through its narrow cobbled streets as we discover the history of the city and listen to stories about secret passages and legends of hidden loves.
We'll continue to Calle Estafeta, famous all over the world for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, and visit Plaza Consistorial, where the famous chupinazo that inaugurates the festivities is fired every year. Later, we'll walk along the Cuesta de Santo Domingo, where we'll learn about our patron saint, San Fermín, and visit a museum where, according to tradition, a mysterious ghost dwells.
The itinerary continues along the ancient city walls, from where we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, and we will arrive at the Cathedral of Santa María la Real, a majestic building where we will discover the legend of Teodosio de Goñi and hear stories about witchcraft and popular beliefs.
Throughout the tour, our tour guide will share interesting facts, anecdotes, and legends related to illustrious figures, such as the writer Ernest Hemingway, who immortalised Pamplona in his novel The Sun Also Rises.
We'll end the tour at the Plaza de Toros de Pamplona, another iconic setting for the San Fermín festivities and one of the city's most representative places. At the end, the tour guide will offer local recommendations so that you can continue exploring Pamplona at your own pace.
