The tour begins in the heart of the historic old town with a visit to the Padua Cathedral and continues towards Piazza del Capitaniato, one of the iconic landmarks of the university city, dominated by the ancient palace designed by Andrea Moroni.
Continuing along the canal banks, you reach the evocative Specola, the ancient medieval tower transformed into an astronomical observatory, one of the most characteristic symbols of Padua.
The route continues through elegant residential districts, past ancient medieval gates and the ramparts of the city walls, which tell the storey of the city's long history of defence.
