Spend two days and one night on Isla Perro, San Blas' shipwreck island. Stay in a private room, enjoy island meals and combine beach time with an included boat excursion to Isla Perro Grande and the Natural Pool.
This San Blas overnight tour gives you more time on the island than a day visit. Swim, relax on the white-sand beach and enjoy the Caribbean setting, with a night on Isla Perro before continuing your adventure the following day.
YOUR ROOM
Accommodation is a basic private bedroom on the second floor of the island's main building. Bathrooms and showers are shared. This is a rustic island stay with simple facilities, suited to travellers comfortable with limited amenities.
DAY 1: ARRIVE ON ISLA PERRO
Meet at the designated Cartí port for your shared boat transfer to the island. The ride takes approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on sea conditions.
If you would like road transport from Panama City, select the optional return transfer when booking. Pickup is generally between 5:00 AM and 5:45 AM, followed by a 2.5–3-hour shared SUV journey through the highlands.
On arrival, settle into your room and start enjoying the beach. The shipwreck just offshore is a distinctive feature of Isla Perro and a popular snorkelling spot. Swimming and snorkelling depend on sea conditions; included shared masks and snorkels are provided during the boat excursion.
Enjoy lunch and dinner on the island, with free time to stroll along the sand, swim or relax beneath the palms.
DAY 2: ISLAND TIME & BOAT EXCURSION
Wake up on Isla Perro and enjoy breakfast. Check out of your room by 8:00 AM, then spend the morning enjoying the island before lunch.
After lunch, join the included shared boat excursion to Isla Perro Grande and the Natural Pool. Explore another island setting and enjoy the shallow offshore waters of the Natural Pool when conditions permit. Water depth varies with tides and sea conditions.
After the excursion, return to the mainland. If you selected the road-transfer add-on, continue to Panama City, with arrival around 7:00 PM depending on traffic and conditions.
Meals are simple island dishes, typically fish or chicken with sides. Vegetarian alternatives can be requested before travel, but choices depend on available ingredients. Drinks are extra.
This is a hosted island stay rather than a continuously guided tour. English is not spoken by every host family member. Stops and activities may change with weather and sea conditions.
Bring your original passport, cash, towel and toiletries. The Guna Yala entrance fee and optional road transfers are separate. Electricity is available approximately 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, with phone charging in the communal area.
