Overview

  • Snorkel with whale sharks in Oslob, then with the Moalboal sardine run and wild sea turtles, all in one day with a licensed local guide by your side.

    Your trained guide travels with you all day, in addition to your driver. On the long drive south they share stories of Cebu’s history and everyday local life, in English or Japanese, and they handle your Oslob registration for you.

    A free GoPro (on request), towels, snorkel gear and life jackets are provided, so you can pack light. Your guide films you underwater and sends the footage to your phone the same day.

Know before you book

    • Full names and dates of birth of all participants are required for the insurance.
    • Tip: Because of the early pickup, many hotels can prepare a breakfast box for you. Ask your hotel the day before.
    • No sun cream in the water at Oslob; wear a rash guard instead.
    • The schedule for the day may be subject to change due to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, changes will be at the discretion of the guide on the day of the tour.
    • The whale shark interaction in Oslob involves wild animals in their natural habitat and is operated and managed solely by the Oslob local government authorities. All procedures, including feeding practices, are conducted under their policies and are beyond our company's control.
    • If the Oslob whale shark activity is closed due to weather or sea conditions, you will receive a partial refund for that portion of the tour. The rest of the tour, including Moalboal snorkelling, continues as planned.
    • In accordance with EU regulations about consumer rights, activities services are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Supplier cancellation policy will apply.

Mactan Island (Pass by)

Hotel pickup between 1:30 and 3:00 AM; we confirm the exact time the day before.

Cebu City (Pass by)

On the 3-hour drive south we stop at a convenience store where you can buy breakfast and snacks. Your guide shares stories about Cebu along the way.

Your guide completes the Oslob registration while you wait in the dedicated waiting area, which has showers and bathrooms. Waiting time is usually 30–60 minutes.

Oslob

  • 30m
Snorkel with whale sharks from a local paddle boat for about 30 minutes. Local rules: keep 4 m away, don’t touch the sharks, no sun cream in the water. In peak season the area can be busy.

Natalio Bacalso Avenue (Pass by)

Drive about 1–1.5 hours by van across southern Cebu to Moalboal on the west coast. Rest, dry off, and hear more from your guide about local life along the way.

Enter the water straight from the beach.
