We'll pick you up from your hotel lobby or residence in Amman, and our friendly English-speaking driver will be there to escort you along the scenic Desert Highway to Petra. The tour runs every day, and depending on traffic, the journey usually takes around 2.5 hours, including a relaxing stop. We look forward to making your trip smooth and enjoyable!

Start with your local guide to visit the amazing rock city of Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital once ruled the Arabian trade routes and is a must-see in the Middle East. You will pass through the Siq, a narrow canyon where you get your first close views of the colourful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to see the Royal Tombs, the Theatre, and Qasr Al Bint. Enjoy some free time on your own, then walk back the same way to the entrance gate. Most visitors spend around 5 hours in Petra, but you’re free to shorten or extend your visit. Restaurants are available inside and around the main gate of Petra Archaeological Park. After 2 hours, your guide will escort you to the meeting point for the journey back to Amman, or you can choose to explore the site more before making your way back with your driver.
