Experience the quieter side of Oita Prefecture with a 2-hour sea kayak rental at Sumiyoshihama Resort Park. Set out from Marine Shop BUZZ and enjoy the freedom to explore the gentle coastline at your own pace. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful solo paddle or a shared adventure, the stable kayaks make this activity welcoming for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike.

After a short orientation, choose between a single or tandem kayak and head out onto the open water. The bay’s sheltered conditions offer a safe environment for relaxed cruising, sightseeing, or even a spot of fishing. Take in the soothing sounds of the sea, watch for local wildlife, and enjoy the fresh ocean air as you paddle along the shoreline. The area is known for its tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal escape from busier tourist spots.

Once your time on the water ends, return to shore and make use of the on-site showers and changing rooms. If you’re looking to extend your day, Sumiyoshihama Resort Park offers additional marine activities and plenty of space to unwind by the sea. The experience concludes back at Marine Shop BUZZ, leaving you free to continue exploring the local area or relax at the resort.
