The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

  • 3h
  • Admission ticket included
Upon arriving at the Terracotta Army Museum, skip long ticket lines (fees included) and explore this UNESCO site. Start with Pit 1, the largest pit, where over 6,000 life-sized, uniquely crafted terracotta warriors (2,000+ years old) showcase distinct ranks, armour, and weapons—built to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Next, visit Pit 2 to see crouched archers, cavalry, chariots, and ongoing excavation/restoration work. Then head to Pit 3, the believed command centre that reveals Qin Dynasty military structure. During the 2.5-hour tour, your guide shares key insights: warrior details, the 1974 farmer discovery, and more for an engaging experience.

Lintong District
