Explore the Thuringian Forest near Oberhof on a special puzzle tour that takes you through typical low mountain scenery around the well-known winter sports resort. Step by step, you will solve tricky tasks and discover quiet forests and special places.
The puzzle hike begins at the car park at the Rondell and leads you a bit along the famous Rennsteig into quiet forests and to special places. You will encounter highlights such as the mystical Schützenbergmoor, the idyllic Veilchenbrunnen, the historic Forest Workers' Monument, or the obelisk at the Rondell. Along the way, quiet spots invite you to take short breaks before you continue hiking towards the destination and finally complete the circuit at the car park by the Rondell.
During your hike through the Thuringian Forest, challenging riddles await you at various stations, requiring careful observation and teamwork. At the end of the tour, you will crack a combination lock and can look forward to an attractive regional voucher as a reward. Along the route, there is also the option of a stop at a cosy mountain lodge with a beer garden (food and drinks not included).
Seven puzzle cards contain the tasks of the tour. With the help of the decoding compass, you will decipher which card is to be used next. The directions are described on the cards and guide you safely along the route. In addition, you will learn exciting background information about the region and nature at selected points.
