What you can expect

In the morning we will pick up our travellers, who will enjoy a pleasant trip to the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua where the adventure will begin.

We will begin the tour with Hierve el Agua, this beautiful place that has the famous petrified waterfalls formed thousands of years ago by the runoff of water with a high mineral content. We will continue with Mitla, the magical town that has it all. The name of Mitla derives from the Nahuatl word Mictlán and can be translated as Valley of the Dead. Famous for its facades and fretwork-shaped mosaics. Here we will make a stop to eat at a buffet restaurant where you will find typical dishes of the region.

We will continue with Teotitlán del Valle, also known as “Land of the Gods” here you will learn about the culture and traditional beauty, as you will observe how the world-famous sheep wool rugs are made dyed with natural dyes obtained from plants and animals carried out through a prehispanic process.

To end this fantastic tour, admire the largest tree in all of Mexico, with more than 2,000 years old, the sabino is the tree with the largest trunk diameter in the world.
