What’s on at MAD:
• Explore the exuberant, imaginative worlds of twin artists Nikolai and Simon Haas in the Haas Brothers: Uncanny Valley. The exhibition features 85 fantastical hybrid creatures, algorithmically generated landscapes, and meticulously hand-built ceramics.
• Enter Alice Riehl’s Porcelain Florilegium—an installation of the artist’s fragile, luminous, and enduring porcelain wall murals inspired by botanical imagery through the ages.
• Described as “couture for the sky,” artist Hai-Wen Lin’s textured textiles and sculptural kites soar high above the earth; up close, they reveal delicate details like beads and feathers, creating work that is both deeply intimate and cosmically expansive.
