Know before you book

  • Runs Weds to Sunday 2:45pm to 4:15pm (Duration: 90 minutes)
  • Meeting Location: Whistler Sliding Centre
  • Ability Level: No experience required
  • Minimum Age: 14yrs (14- and 15-year olds must slide w/ guardian)
  • Not for people with neck/back issues, heart conditions, osteoporosis, bone disease, or ankylosing spondylitis, if you take oral steroids regularly or are pregnant
  • Requirements: Weigh between 90 lbs (41 kg) and 285 lbs (129 kg); Be between 4’6” (137 cm) and 6’8” (203 cm) in height; Have the physical dexterity to be able to strongly grip the sides of the sleigh; Be in good general and physical health
  • In accordance with UK consumer law, activities services are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Supplier cancellation policy will apply.

What you can expect

The Whistler Sliding Centre's Passenger Bobsleigh Sport Experience is one of Whistler's most unique activities!

After an orientation, you will slide in a real bobsleigh, driven by a trained pilot. You and your team will race through ten twists and turns at speeds of 125+ km/hr and feel the acceleration of up to 4 g-forces. The Whistler Sliding Centre is the only place in Canada where public can try bobsleigh and slide like an Olympian. Passenger Bobsleigh runs rain, snow or shine so it’s the perfect addition to your time in Whistler, whatever the weather.

No prior experience necessary.

Duration: Approximately 90 minutes.

Availability: Wednesday to Sunday from November 28, 2025 to April 5, 2026

All participants must be 14+ years of age (14 & 15 year-olds must slide together with an accompanying adult; 1:1 ratio).
