While in Vienna, don't miss the chance to visit the splendid city of Prague. With a friendly English-speaking driver, depart from your hotel in Vienna in a comfortable and modern van. Heading north, head through the Austrian wine region, drive past the Czech border, and cross Moravia and Bohemia until you reach Prague.
Upon arrival, you'll be joined by a local expert guide for a 2.5-hour walking tour of Prague's Old Town. First, visit the vast complex of Prague Castle. Situated atop the Hradschin hill, this is the perfect place to catch a first glimpse of the city and to take amazing pictures. There, you'll also see Prague’s impressive St. Vitus Cathedral, the coronation church of the Bohemian kings.
Strolling through Mala Strana and admiring its great Baroque palaces, you'll reach the famous Charles Bridge, a must-see for every visitor. Then, make a wish when you touch the miraculous statue of Saint John Nepomuk. Once in the old town, your guide will show you the astronomical clock, Old town square, Clementinum Monastery, and Wenceslas Square. If you like, you can also take a tour of the city's old Jewish Quarter.
After the city tour, treat yourself to a delicious Czech meal (not included) in one of the city's many great restaurants. Your guide will gladly suggest lunch options in Prague and handle your table reservations.
Then, spend the afternoon at your own leisure in Prague’s lively centre. In the late afternoon your driver will take you back to Vienna and drop you off back at your hotel.
