The adventure begins with an easy hike of approximately 30 minutes from the entrance of Serra da Tiririca State Park to the base of Agulha Guarischi, an impressive rock formation that stands out in the Itacoatiara landscape. Upon arrival, the guide conducts a gear check and a safety briefing, reviewing the essential procedures for rock climbing and rappelling.
Then the rock climbing begins on one of the most beautiful routes in the region, totaling about 300 metres in length on rock of excellent quality. The route features varied and engaging sections, with passages through striking veins and an elegant edge that requires attention, technique, and good movement. As they progress, participants are constantly guided by the guide, ensuring technical support and safety throughout the activity.
As the route progresses, the scenery opens up to sweeping views of the ocean, the Itacoatiara waterfront, and the mountains that make up the park. Reaching the summit is one of the most thrilling moments of the tour, as it is located on a very thin rocky ridge, providing a unique sensation of exposure and achievement.
After time for contemplation, photos, and rest at the top, the descent begins by means of guided rappelling until a safe return to the hiking tour. The activity is suitable for climbers who already have basic knowledge of rock climbing and rappelling techniques, and it is a perfect opportunity to experience a classic route in a mountain environment, combining challenge, learning, and unforgettable scenery.
